Operation Zarb-e-Azb has broken backbone of terrorists, says Sartaj Aziz

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has on Monday said that Pakistan has achieved many successes in the war on terrorism. Talking to media after meeting German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Islamabad on Monday, Sartaj Aziz said that Pakistan wanted to improve relations with its neighbours. He said that they have a productive meeting and exchanged views on bilateral relations, regional and global issues. The adviser said that both countries are cooperating in different sectors. He said that Operation Zarb-e-Azb is achieving successes and has broken the backbone of terrorists, adding that Germany praises Pakistan’s efforts in fighting menace of terrorism. German foreign minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said that they wanted to work with Pakistan against terrorism, adding that the world recognized the sacrifices rendered by the Pakistan. German foreign minister said that Germany give high importance to its relations with Pakistan. He said during the meeting they discussed regional situation. He said that they will provide full support to Pakistan against all the challenges.
