LAHORE (92 News) – The opposition members created a rumpus in Punjab Assembly on Monday over provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah’s point of order. The Punjab Assembly session that started more than two hours late presented scenes of a fish market due to strife between opposition and government members over point of order. Rana Sana said, “Both Imran Khan and Sheikh Rashid make false statements and if our political coffin (which they talk about) comes out from Supreme Court, then a coffin would come out from every street whenever we want.” Replying to Rana Sana’s statement, Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed said that there is a noise regarding leaders’ corruption all around the world. The Supreme Court would take a fair decision no matter how many justifications government gives, he said. The opposition did not let the proceedings of the assembly continue and boycotted the session. They staged a walkout from the assembly, chanting slogans. The session has been adjourned till Tuesday morning at 10am.
