PESHAWAR (92 News) – JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that the opposition had not failed, but condition to end the sit-in were not fulfilled. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, he said that the present government had come into power through the fake mandate. "New elections are the need of the hour," he added. The JUI-F chief said that big parties have once again played the role of facilitation. "The struggle of Palestinians for freedom is not acknowledged here. The UAE is among the weak countries and it has been forced to accept Israel. Its act does not represent the Arab world," he added. Later, Fazalur Rehman visited the house of Aftab Khan Sherpao. They discussed the political situation and the anti-government movement. Earlier, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman had hinted at contacting religious parties after being disappointed from the Pakistan Muslim League-N and the Pakistan People's Party. He said that he would address the conference on September 7. "We will devise a strategy in consultation with all religious parties," he said. The JUI-F chief said that he had succeeded in uniting the opposition, but two big parties did not show resilience. "The opposition was intentionally divided, not accidentally," he said.
