Opp likely to cal ‘All Party Conference’ on Oct 31: sources

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The opposition parties are likely to summon ‘All Parties Conference (APC)’ on October 31 to take a united stand against the government. According to the sources, JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman has informed former president and Co Chairman PPP, Asif Ali Zardari about APC’s expected date. The final decision about to decide date would be announced after consultations with all the opposition parties. Fazlur Rehman has started contacting opposition parties to decide final date of the ‘APC’. It was reported that arrangements of the APC will be done my JUI-F Chief himself. A day earlier, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari met JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman to devise a strategy to challenge the government. The former president had expedited his political activities after lashing at the government for its incompetence and inability to govern the country. Zardari had also called on opposition parties to table a resolution against the government. He reportedly discussed a range issues with Rehman at the latter’s residence particularly the political situation and efforts to make the opposition more active.
