ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the opposition the opposition tried to embroil us in the foreign funding case but have got themselves entangled.
While talking to ministers and party spokespersons, the prime minister said that the PTI has nothing to hide in foreign funding case and opposition is wrong to think that it can hide the facts through propaganda. "The government wants fair and transparent inquiry into Broadsheet issue and vowed to expose everyone who looted national exchequer.
The current political situation, foreign funding case, operation against land grabbers and Broadsheet issue came under discussion during the meeting.
PM Imran Khan further said those who tried to embroil us in the foreign funding case have got themselves entangled. “Our stance stood vindicated before the Election Commission,” he added.
He reiterated the government’s resolve to ensure a fair and just probe into the Broadsheet issue. “We will bring to light every character who inflicted losses on the national exchequer,” he resolved.
While criticizing PML-N, he said that the party is supporting land mafia. "The people who illegally occupied state lands enjoyed the PML-N's patronage," he added.
“Nobody can encroach upon state land without political patronage.” He wondered that the operation to clear state land of encroachments is being billed as political move by opposition leaders.
