Pakistan's future lies in industrialization, says PM Imran Khan

NOWSHERA (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that his opponents are worried over four percent growth.

Addressing a ceremony held to inaugurate the Rashkai Special Economic Zone on Friday, he said that the country would have gone bankrupt had friend countries not helped her.

"The country was facing a current deficit of US$20 billion when we assumed the power," he maintained.

The prime minister said that good time is coming and the country is heading towards the right direction. "The future of Pakistan lies in industrialization," he added.

He said that hurdles were being removed to facilitate the local and foreign investors to invest in Pakistan. "Pakistan has a great potential and it can learn a lot from the fast industrial growth of China," he added.

PM Imran Khan directed the KP government to give land at the zone on lease instead of selling it to avoid real estate speculations.

He said that the government is taking steps to ensure the economic stability sustainable.
