Opponents failed to produce evidence of money laundering: Abid Sher Ali

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has on Sunday said that conspiracies against them have failed earlier and would still be unsuccessful.

Talking to media in Islamabad on Sunday, he said that they would not run away anywhere, adding there are no evidence of corruption against them and serving of nation is the top priority of the government.

The minister said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will continue his efforts for a development Pakistan despite hurdles by his opponents.

He demanded Supreme Court of Pakistan to take notice of statements of opposition regarding investigation of Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing panama case. “The PML-N has reservation on such statements like a spokesperson of JIT,” he added.

Abid Sher Ali said: “The PML-N respects national institutions and expects fair, transparent and merit based investigation by the six-man panel, adding that the opponents have completely failed to produce sufficient evidence and documentary proof against corruption and money laundering.”

He said that the negative politics of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman is a threat for country’s politics, adding that Imran Khan has been declared as absconder by the courts.

The minister advised PTI chairman Imran Khan to follow footsteps of the prime minister and appear before the courts for accountability of allegations leveled against him.
