Opponents of open ballot will weep after Senate election: PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the opponents of the open ballot will weep after the Senate election.

Addressing the federal cabinet on Wednesday, he said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will win the Upper House election with a majority. "We awarded the tickets on merit. We want there should be no use of money in the election," he added.

The prime minister said that they were in contact with members of the national and provincial assemblies. "We are waiting for the Supreme Court verdict regarding the open ballot," he added.

He said that they would respect each verdict of the Supreme Court.
