ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The opposition has accused the government of trampling the constitution and being fearful of the people's votes.

Addressing a joint press conference on Thursday, PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal said that November 18 will be written as the blackest day in the history. "Yesterday the government bulldozed the recommendations of the Election Commission of Pakistan," he added.

The PML-N leader was of the view that the foundation of rigging was laid yesterday.

PPP Senator Sherry Rehman said that the government had tried to give a new crutch to its shivering legs.

"The parliament was paralyzed yesterday. Such act was done in the parliament which could not be done during the Musharraf regime," he maintained.
