ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The opposition has again announced to summon the all parties conference after Eidul Azha. During a meeting on Friday, the Rahbar Committee decided to punish 14 senators who betrayed their parties during the Senate elections. It also mulled the options to table the no-confidence movement afresh. Talking to the media after the meeting, Akram Durrani said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman will call the APC after Eid where important decisions about the future strategy will be made. He said that now the Senate chairman is also selected like the prime minister. Akram Durrani said that several people were trying to create rifts in the opposition. “The government has sold out Kashmir during the US tour,” he maintained. Ahsan Iqbal said that Maryam Nawaz has been arrested to put the Kashmir issue on the back burner. “The PTI government has failed and is trying to divert the attention from the Kashmir issue by arresting the opposition leaders. ANP leader Mian Iftikhar said that the opposition would counter those who brought Prime Minister Imran Khan. “We will stage a sit-in till toppling of the government,” he said.
