ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the opposition cannot think of putting national security matters at risk. Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that the ministers told lies over the matter. "We had to tell the facts under compulsion. The opposition has fulfilled its responsibility with regard to the FATF," he said. He said that the opposition's 115 amendments to the NAB laws are according to the decisions of the Supreme Court and Islamic Ideology Council. "The opposition's amendments on the FATF are in the national interests," he said. The PML-N leader said that talks were held over the NAB Bill at the Speaker House. "We gave the notice to the government on the bill of Farooq H Naik, saying it is not a draft bill but the notice only," he said. He said that the country cannot run with the NAB. "We clearly said that the FATF bill is not related to the NAB bill," he added. PML-N Senator Mushahidullah said that it seems that Kulbhushan Jadhav is not present in the country and the people are being deceived. PPP Senator Sherry Rehman said that the government deceived the people over the FATF laws.
