KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh Assembly’s session on Thursday turned into fish market when opposition lawmakers raised slogans as ‘Go Zardari Go’ in the Sindh Assembly. During the session, PTI Khurram Sher Zaman was not allowed to speak by the assembly’s deputy speaker. However, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) started protest and raised slogans as ‘Go Zardari GO. Meanwhile, the members from treasury benches including Saeed Ghani and Shehla Raza also started to raise slogans against the opposition members instead of resolving matters related to the PAC committees and reservations of the oppositions. Speaking to the session, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah condemned the yesterday incident of fight in the assembly. He termed that the inexperienced members set a bad tradition here. He also announced to generate electricity by coal in Thar and adding into the grid system soon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CeDpEVO9RTI Earlier on Thursday, the PTI attempted to physically stop a Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) legislator from presenting a privilege motion against the opposition leader in the House. The MMA lawmaker Syed Abdul Rasheed was presenting a privilege motion against PTI's opposition leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi for passing “derogatory” remarks against two opposition legislators: one Rasheed himself and the other of the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP). The motion had criticised Naqvi for dubbing two lawmakers of practically becoming the “lap children” of the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) who should be moved to the treasury benches as they no longer represented the opposition any more. As Rasheed began to speak on his privilege motion, other opposition legislators tried to scuffle and physically obstruct him from presenting the motion. As the MMA lawmaker was surrounded and harassed by the opposition legislators, the PPP MPAs rushed to protect and let him speak on his privilege motion.
