ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The opposition has decided not to submit the no-confidence motion until completion of the numbers.

According to sources, the opposition parties are of the view that they still lack the required numbers. The opposition parties have 163 members while the government has the support of 179 lawmakers.

The sources said that the PPP had proposed to submit the no-confidence motion this week. However, the PDM did not agree to the proposals. The no-confidence motion will be submitted with the signatures of 20 percent members. The opposition needs 10 more members for the success of the motion.

The opposition will submit the no-confidence motion after mustering the support of 10 members belonging to the PML-Q and the MQM-P.

However, the PDM could not form a committee to make the no-confidence motion successful. The opposition will have to give an agenda against the prime minister while submitting the no-confidence motion.
