ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the opposition and India are on the same page with regard to Financial Action Task Force (FATF). Addressing a meeting of the government and party spokespersons on Wednesday, he said that the opposition had stopped the FATF legislation to blackmail the government. The prime minister said that the opposition is damaging the country to save its corruption. "The government had allowed Nawaz Sharif to go abroad on humanitarian grounds," he said. Imran Khan said that the government would not compromise on the manifesto of accountability. "The opposition has a great role in democracy. The opposition wants amendments to the anti-money laundering law for personal interests. It is preferring personal interests to national interests," he added. During the meeting, PM Imran Khan was briefed about the steps taken for the repatriation of Nawaz Sharif.
