ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said that the opposition is humiliating itself, while there is no threat to the government.

Talking to the media on Saturday, he said that it would take six months for the opposition to warm up.

Sheikh Rashid said that no ally is threatening the government. "My party is with Imran Khan. Three and a half years have passed and the election campaign has started. Electronic voting machines are a must for elections," he added.

The minister said that the effects of neighbouring Afghanistan would be felt in Pakistan as well. "Our economy is going through a big test. Groceries are on the rise around the world," he added.

Sheikh Rashid said that Shahbaz Sharif and Fawad Hassan Fawad are already on the ECL. "An agreement has been reached with the TLP. I was not involved in this agreement," he maintained.

Sheikh Rashid said that the police had a lot of responsibilities. "It is very important for the morale of the police to be high. The summary regarding the Islamabad police is lying in the Ministry of Finance. I have already complained to the IG about the crime," he added.
