Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah terms Modi's statement condemnable

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Khurshid Shah has said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement in Bangladesh is condemnable. Initiating the debate on the budget, Syed Khurshid Shah criticised the Indian PM's statement. He suggested that the House should pass a resolution condemning the statement of Narendra Modi and Foreign Office should also play its role in this regard. "India is not large at heart," he said. "Only in area is India large." Earlier, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a statement had said that Indian forces helped Mukti Bahini to turn East Pakistan into Bangladesh.
