ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Opposition leaders have declared the annual report of Transparency International as deeds of Prime Minister Imran Khan. PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the report is a proof of the failure of ‘New Pakistan Project’. “If Imran Khan has some moral courage, he should now say the country is corrupt because the rulers are thieves,” he said. PPP Senator Sherry Rehman said that the Transparency International report is a charge-sheet against the government. “Imran Khan had leveled allegations against the previous governments, but Transparency International exposed the accountability government,” she said. Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Sirajul Haq said that the government has broken the record of corruption. “TI is an independent institution. The annual report about corruption is alarming. According to the report, Rs 6.5 million, out of an Rs 10 million project, go waste in corruption.” Sindh Minister for Information Saeed Ghani said that Transparency International report had exposed the claims of Imran Khan. “It proves that the country had moved backward during one and a half years,” he said.
