ISLAMABAD (92 News) – President Mamnoon Hussain has said that the opposition has no right to impose its will on the elected representatives. Addressing the joint session of the parliament on Wednesday, he said that personal interest and stubbornness should not be a hurdle before national interests. The President said that the Pak-China Economic Corridor was a national project and all conspiracies against it would be foiled. He said that democracy should continue and there was no room for any mistake. President Mamnoon Hussain said that friendly relations with all neighboring countries were the characteristic of Pakistan’s foreign policy. “We want meaningful dialogues with India. It is a matter of concern that the foreign secretary level talks with India could not be held despite cooperation in the investigations into the Pathankot incident,” he maintained. He said that peace was impossible in the region without resolution of the Kashmir dispute. “Dialogues should continue for the resolution of all problems,” he added.
