ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The opposition parties have rejected the federal budget, terming it anti-people.

Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that burden has again been put on the salaries class. “Why are the big landlords not brought into the tax net?” he questioned.

Criticizing the federal budget, KP Information Minister Barrister Saif said that the budget is an attempt to make the rich richer and the poor poorer. “The levy on petrol and diesel has been further increased in the budget,” he added.

Expressing his reservations on the budget, PPP leader Hassan Murtaza said that the young people, women and farmers have totally been ignored in the budget.
