Opposition protests Shehbaz Sharif’s arrest outside Parliament House

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The opposition protested against the arrest of Shehbaz Sharif outside Parliament House on Thursday. NA former speaker Ayaz Sadiq presided over the protest meeting. The opposition members wore black armbands and chanted slogans against the government. Addressing the participants, PML-N leader Rana Tanvir Hussain said that Shehbaz Sharif’s arrest is an insult to the parliament. “There will be no poor and mediocre person in the country if the government continued for a few months,” he said. He said that Shehbaz Sharif’s arrest made mockery of country across the world. Asif Kirmani said that the present government is a controlled government. Mushahidullah said that Shehbaz Sharif had been arrested to influence the by-elections. Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Usman Kakar said that everyone knows that the institutions decided the president, the prime minister, MPs and senators. On the other hand, NA Speaker Asad Qaisar has taken notice of wearing of the speaker gown by Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. He has ordered investigations into the matter.
