Opposition rejects increase in petroleum prices

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The opposition has rejected an increase in the prices of petroleum products.

Reacting to the increase in the prices of POL products, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that when good time for the nation will come. "You had stated that you will make the people weep. Today the entire nation is weeping," he added.

The PPP chairman said that everything goes beyond the reach of the common man when petrol reaches all-time high. "Those coming to the power after telling the lie of providing cheap petrol are defending the government by selling the costly petrol," he maintained.

PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the foreign loans, dollar and petrol are all-time high. "PM Imran Khan should resign and leave the people," she added.

She said that loans, historic deficit and dollar has reached all-time high. "Unemployment is all time high in the country," she added.

Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Sirajul Haq demanded that the petroleum levy and Drug Pricing Policy should be ended.

He said that the prices of insulin and antibiotic had increased by 300 percent. "Poor patients are unable to purchase medicine. The PTI government has made the life of people a hell," he added.
