Opposition's demand for govt resignation is a political mistake: Asad Umar

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar has said that the opposition's demand for the government resignation is a political mistake.

Talking to 92 News on Monday, he said that Maulana Fazalur Rehman had demanded the resignations very seriously. "I fear Imran Khan would have fallen from his chair while listening to the demand," he said.

The minister said that Maulana Fazalur Rehman had demanded the resignation last year as well. "The PML-N is divided into two thoughts. The PPP is also worried about the thinking of the PML-N," he added.

Asad Umar said that the prime minister did not want to use the administrative power against the opposition.
