Opposition should hold long march 15 days before or after March 23 as it is parade day: Sheikh Rasheed

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said the opposition should hold the long march before or after March 23 as it is the parade day, adding that the government will close the routes.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, he said that the PML-N had assessed its position in the NA 133 by-election as it got only 10 percent votes.

"No caretaker set-up is coming and the government will complete its tenure," he maintained.

Sheikh Rasheed said that due to increasing number of crimes in the country they want to implement the National Action Plan. “The Islamabad IG hass been replaced for the same reason. The media should not give coverage to extremists,” he added.

About inflation, he said that Imran Khan will control inflation within two to three months.

Condemnign the Sialkot incident, the minister that military and political leadership is on the same page over the incident. "The international media is raising this issue. It is a conspiracy. We have completely ensured justice to the Sri Lankan high commissioner.”
