Opposition stages protest, walkout from PA against suspension of 11 MPAs

LAHORE (92 News) - The opposition on Saturday staged protest and a walkout from the Punjab Assembly against suspension of 11 MPAs.

After the protest of the opposition, the treasury members also staged a protest against the opposition’s yesterday attitude in the assembly. The House resounded with slogans from treasury and opposition benches.

Meanwhile, Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Ahmed Khan issued a ruling regarding suspension of 11 members of the Sunni Ittehad Council. In the ruling, he stated that the opposition displayed unparliamentary attitude.

He said that the 11 MPAs will remain suspended for the 15 days. He also warned the opposition that he will not tolerate hooliganism in the House.

The speaker also announced to form an ethics committee.

SIC MPA Rana Shahbaz said that they would not leave the PTI even they are banned for 15 years.
