Opposition to raise matter of US dollar price in NA

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The opposition parties have decided to take up the matter of upward trend in US dollar price in proportion to Pakistani currency. The decision was taken during the parliamentary meeting of opposition parties under the chair of Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday. The meeting participants discussed the possibilities of implementing the decisions taken in the all parties conference (APC) of opposition   PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif snubbed party legislators for not participating in the ongoing budget session after PPP MNA Syed Khursheed Shah complained about their absence from the session. Sharif directed his party MNAs to ensure presence in the budget session.
Earlier, Pakistan’s first HD plus channel 92 News obtained the inside story of the opposition’s All Parties Conference (APC). According to the sources, the joint sitting of opposition could not reach the consensus on the resignations from the assemblies. The sources also informed that the difference between the ‘elected and non-elected’ opinion was clarified during the meeting. The sources further revealed that Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman were in favour for toppling the ruling government. On the contrary, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif wanted to held protest inside and outside the parliament against the federal government. Pakistan Peoples’ Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has said the democratic government is better than martial law, however, this government should be run instead of dictatorship.
