ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the opposition’s attitude is damaging the Kashmir cause. Addressing a press conference along with Federal Law Minister Farogh Naseem on Saturday, she said that Kashmiris are not looking toward any political party, but Pakistan. “We should unite after setting aside our differences. The opposition should support the narrative of the prime minister,” she added. She thanked all sections of the society for expressing solidarity with the Kashmiris. Federal Law Minister Farogh Naseem said that the laws are being formulated first time for quick justice. “We are reducing the period of civil cases to one and a half years. We are introducing whistleblower laws in the ‘benami’ transactions,” he said. She said that the government would follow the law with regard to the appointment of judges. “The appointment of judges is a serious matter. A two-thirds majority is required for amending the laws,” he said. Farogh Naseem said that they would not allow anyone to separate Karachi from Sindh. “We also offer Sindh to present new laws,” he said.
