Enemy is conspiring to create a rift between people and armed forces: COAS Asim Munir

KAKUL (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has said that their efforts for peace should not be considered as weakness.

Addressing the passing out parade of cadets at Kakul Academy on Saturday, he said that the armed forces will not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the motherland.

"There is no place for terrorists and their facilitators in Pakistan. The enemy is conspiring to create a rift between the people and the armed forces. People are the centre of the state. There is nothing sacred than protection and security of the people," he declared.

The COAS said that the world should know that the regional peace will be ambiguous without the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute. "Peace in Afghanistan is vital for the solidarity of Pakistan," he added.

Earlier, COAS Asim Munir inspected the parade and distributed prizes among the cadets showing excellent performance.

Meanwhile, the passing out parade of the 21st Lady Cadet Course was also held. Cadets from Palestine, Bahrain, Iraq, Qatar and Sri Lanka passed out the course.
