Our EVM idea was rejected, today everyone questioning election results: President Arif Alvi

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - President Arif Alvi said that they had given the idea of the electronic voting machine that was rejected and today everyone was questioning the election results.

Expressing his views on the prevalent situation in the country, he said that they would have not faced the problems had the elections been held through the EVM.

"Our government tried to give the right to vote to the overseas Pakistanis. Every Pakistani know about the solution to the problems, but we lack leadership. In the era of science, the youth are the factories of ideas," he added.

President Arif Alvi said that the country cannot make progress if the elite occupy the politics.
