Our top priority is to provide inexpensive, speedy justice to each citizen: IHC CJ

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Athar Minallah has said that it is their top priority to provide inexpensive and speedy justice to each citizen.

Addressing a ceremony after inauguration of the Lawyers Complex on Wednesday, he said that the 70-year-old system cannot be changed with a magic wand.

"It is mandatory to review the laws. Judges and the judiciary are not afraid of any criticism because criticism leads to improvement," he added.

He said that the law minister had rightly stated that the judiciary faces many challenges.

"We have to change this system. Our objective is to restore the confidence of the complainants," he added.
