Outstanding pension dues of PTV employees cleared: Firdous

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said reforms are being introduced in institutions as per the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan. In a tweet on Tuesday, she said the government is committed to help the institutions to stand on their own feet. She noted that strong institutions are inevitable to achieve stability and sustainable development in the country. The special assistant said that Imran Khan has started to provide the rights to their deserving people. “Solving the problems of the PTV pensioners, outstanding pension dues of PTV employees have been cleared,” she added. Firdous Ashiq Awan said an amount of 850 million rupees have been paid to the retired employees. A day earlier, Firdous Ashiq Awan has termed the political gathering of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz in Mandi Bahauddin as flop show. In a statement, commenting on the political gathering of Maryam Nawaz, the special assistant said that the drama of misleading the people has been flopped. Taking jibe at the PML-N vice president, Fridous Ashiq taunted that her half of family is wanted in different cases, adding that please stop to play with the nerves of people. She further said that Maryam nawaz failed to prove her innocence in the court. The special assistant further mentioned that they are anxious due to themselves not for the pain of public; they only can feel free after returning the looted money of national kitty.
