Over 100 fall sick for consuming substandard food in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – At least 100 people including women and children fell sick after eating substandard food at a wedding ceremony in Lahore’s Bilal Gunj area on Friday.

The sick people were shifted to Mayo hospital for medical treatment.

According to the victims, they had consumed Biryani during a wedding ceremony after which they fell sick.

Deputy Medical Superintendent Mayo Hospital Noorullah said that all the patients are out danger, however, many patients were not allowed to leave.
