Over 200 dengue cases being reported each day in Sindh

KARACHI (92 News) - Over 200 dengue cases are being reported each day across the province.

Citizens said that the dengue mosquitoes have made life a hell across Sindh, including Karachi. They said that dengue had become an epidemic due to unavailability of spray.

Hospital have been filled with the dengue patients. It has become very difficult to get mega units and platelets for the patients. According to the statistics available with the Health Department, 539 people have contracted dengue so far.

On the other hand, hundreds of children have contracted gastroenteritis in the flood-hit areas of Sindh. During the last 24 hours, two children have died. As a result, 23 children have died during the last 15 days.
