LAHORE (92 News) – Over 2,000 employees of the land record centres resigned in protest against their termination from service. The employees said that they would continue their protest till fulfillment of their demands. On the other hands, citizens are facing numerous problems due to closure of the land record centres. Owing to the protest, the national exchequer has suffered a loss of billions of rupees. DG Lahore Hafiz Shaukat Ali said that they would ensure uninterrupted services at land record centres despite the protest. He said that the lockdown of land record centres is illegal. “The employees should end their strike,” he added.
