ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Memorandum has been submitted by Overseas Pakistanis to the Election commission regarding the implementation of I-voting law.

Overseas Pakistanis staged a peaceful protest outside the Election Commission and submitted a memorandum to enforce the Internet voting law.

The memorandum demanded that the Election Commission take steps within 90 days to grant voting rights to overseas Pakistanis.

Overseas Forum Chairman Shahid Ranjha while talking to media said that no one asks if Overseas lands are occupied. If the steps on I-voting are delayed, there will be nationwide protests.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Shahbaz Gill said that when it comes to giving rights to overseas, political parties become struck dumb. Nawaz Sharif is the only overseas Pakistani who took money from here to London.

The Special Assistant further said that Overseas Pakistanis are more patriotic than us. No one can stop them from voting now.
