Owing to inflation, people are selling kids in front of Parliament: Fazlur Rehman

KARACHI (92 News) – PDM chairman Maulana Fazalur Rehman has said ghat a new phase of the anti-government movement has begun, declaring the government as illegitimate.

Addressing the protest against inflation at Regal Chowk on Saturday, PDM leaders Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that if the economy is stable then the nations is strong. "We are running the country by begging.

The condition of the people has deteriorated due to inflation and every citizen of Pakistan is suffering from despair. People were forced to sell their children in front of the parliament."

The PDM chief said that the government was incompetent and this incompetence is due to the stolen vote. He said that if the rulers were not drowned in the sea then the question of national survival would arise.

He said that he would visit Quetta, Peshawar, Lahore and then Islamabad.

Speaking on the occasion, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the solution to all the problems of Pakistan is to hold quick and transparent elections.

"Our prime minister says there is a lot of inflation in London. Brother, we live in Pakistan and not in London. Why have the prices of food items, electricity and petrol been doubled? Now it has been announced that people will get gas three times in winter," he maintained.
