PA adopts resolution, condemns blasphemous sketches

LAHORE (92 News) – The Punjab Assembly on Sunday unanimously adopted a condemnatory resolution to condemn the blasphemous sketches in Holland. The resolution was submitted by several members from both sides, including Ammar Yasser, Musarrat Jamshed, Kanwal Parvez and Mian Shafi Muhammad. Tabling the resolution in the House, MPA Ammar Yasser said that protection of Aqeeda Khatim-e-Nabuwwat is the foremost responsibility for all of us as Muslims. The House strongly condemned the Dutch government and demanded Federal Government to contact the Muslim Ummah on this issue. During the session, the Punjab chief minister was also elected through election. In the Punjab Assembly session amid ruckus by the lawmakers of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) who gathered in front of Speaker protesting his ‘late arrival in the assembly’.
