PA passes resolution against MQM; demands investigation into allegations

LAHORE (92 News) – The Punjab Assembly passed a resolution, demanding investigation into allegations leveled against MQM for receiving Indian funding in a BBC report. The resolution was moved by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MPA Mian Aslam Iqbal. The resolution demanded investigation against the allegations and if proved true, cases should be registered against Altaf Hussain and his colleagues under Article 6. Commenting about the report, Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that those are still allegations which should be investigated.
