PAF will always come up to the expectations of nation: Air Chief Marshall Sohail Aman

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshall Sohail Aman has on Wednesday said the challenges faced by the country demand focus on indigenous capabilities. Addressing a ceremony held at Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Base Nur Khan to mark rollout of the 50th C-130 aircraft, the PAF engineering team handed over the indigenously refurbished aircraft to PAF, he said that it was because of the confidence and professional excellence of the PAF personnel that a number of programs aimed at indigenization have been initiated. The Air Chief said that the PAF would always come up to the expectations of the nation. Air Chief Marshall Sohail Aman further referred to the PAF's role in the war against terror and said besides fighter jets, C-130s also contributed a lot in the campaign. Earlier, a hand over ceremony of the refurbished C-130 was held in Nur Khan base and Sohail Aman was the chief guest of at the ceremony where C-130 were handed over to the PAF for operationalization.
