Pak-Afghan border closed keeping in view Afghan situation: Sheikh Rasheed

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed said that the Pak-Afghan border has been closed keeping in view the Afghan situation.

Talking to the media on Friday, he said that Pakistan has already been closed the Chaman Border due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Qandhar Governor Haji Wafa had demanded the opening of the border like the past, but we told him it was not possible under present circumstances," he added.

Sheikh Rasheed said that the UNSC's today meeting was very important. "Afghanistan will suffer more loss due to closure of the border," he added.
