ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Torkham and Chaman border crossing between Pakistan-Afghanistan have been reopened for sort of traffic on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had on Monday (yesterday) ordered to reopen the Pakistan-Afghanistan border as a gesture of goodwill to the Afghan people with immediate effect.

The border was closed on 16th of last month due to a number of terrorist attacks in different parts of the country which claimed the lives of more than one hundred and thirty innocent people.

The terrorist attacks were planned and supervised inside Afghanistan.

On the other hand, only those Afghan nationals will be allowed to cross the border who have valid traveling documents.
