Pak Army assisting in relief & rescue operation in Astore’s quake-hit areas
RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Pakistan Army troops are assisting the civil administration in relief and rescue effort in the earthquake-hit areas of Astore.
According to a press release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday, Pakistan Army helicopters, engineers, doctors and paramedics are busy in providing comfort to stranded population affected by earthquake.
“Astore Valley has been opened for traffic, special communication has been restored by SCO, rations and cooked food being provided to victims. Doctors and paramedics providing necessary medical care,” the release added.
