RAWALPINDI (92 News) – The Pak Army has been called to assist the civil administration to curb coronavirus across the country. According to the state TV, Pak Army will assist the civil administration in all provinces, including Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. In a notification, the Interior Ministry said the Pak Army had been called under Article 245 of the Constitution and Section 131-A of CrPC 1898. The coronavirus death toll has risen to six across the country. As many as three more people died from the virus during the last 24 hours. According to the data made available with the Health Department on Monday, the number of coronavirus cases has jumped to 876 with 116 new cases. So far six patients have recovered. According to the break-up, the number of patients has risen to 394 with 61 fresh cases in Sindh. In Punjab, the coronavirus cases have increased to 246 with 21 new cases. Likewise, there are 110 coronavirus patients in Balochistan and six more cases were reported. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the number of patients stands at 38 with seven more reported cases. In Islamabad, there are 15 cases and four new cases were reported. However, the number of COVID-19 patients in AJK is one.
