Funeral for martyred Army officer held in Peshawar Garrison

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Funeral for Lt Arsalan Alam, who embraced martyrdom in the firing by terrorists from Afghanistan in Rajgal Valley, was held at Peshawar Garrison on Saturday. KP Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Commander Peshawar Corps, military & civil officials and relatives of the martyred officer attended the funderal. He will be laid to rest in his ancestral town Kotli Satian with full military honours. Lt Arslan Alam, 22, was deployed at the newly-constructed check-post as Commanding Officer. He courageously fought against the terrorists before embracing martyrdom.
