Pak economy on verge of collapse, Maryam reacts to hike in dollar rate
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Responding to depreciation of the Pakistan rupee against US dollar, Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz termed that Pakistan economy at verge of total collapse.
Maryam Nawaz took her twitter and said, “Dollar soars to Rs.160.5 interbank. Pakistan economy at the verge of total collapse.” “The damage caused by Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government would be irreparable,” she added.
During the hearing, Maryam Nawaz submitted her reply but PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif could not submit the reply over appointment of party’s vice president.
Maryam Nawaz’s lawyer Barrister Zafarullah told the court that the reply of PML-N will be submitted in coming week.
The bench has adjourned the hearing of PTI’s petition challenging appointment of Maryam Nawaz as PML-N vice president till 4th of next month.
Meanwhile, the PML-N counsel sought time to submit reply.

Maryam submits reply in ECP on plea against her appointment
A day earlier, Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz submitted a reply in Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on a plea against her appointment as party’s vice president.
A three member bench of Election Commission of Pakistan headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan heard the case.
