Pak envoy to UK summoned to explain 'irresponsible activities': FO

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Office spokesperson said that a Pakistani envoy in the United Kingdom was summoned in Pakistan to explain his “irresponsible activities” during an award show in Londodn. According to the FO spokesperson, the video clip from the ceremony made rounds on the electronic as well as social media, raising various questions and concerns on the actions of the senior Pakistani diplomat. It also said that these activities senior diplomat were against the protocol. Minister for Foreign Affairs Shah Mehmood Qureshi has taken notice of ‘irresponsible activities’ of Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Britain during an award ceremony in London. The foreign minister has sought a written explanation from ambassador Sahebzada Ahmed Khan for his reported ‘irresponsible’ behavior during the awards ceremony. The Foreign Ministry has also summoned the envoy to Headquarters on account of giving an explanation over his non-serious behavior in the public event.
