‘Pak-India armed conflict not in regional interest’

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan is capable of giving a befitting reply to any Indian aggression but armed conflict is not the best interest of the region but India continues with provocations to sideline the Kashmir issue. Talking to media before attending Cabinet meeting in Islamabad, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif while criticizing Indian aggression said that the armed conflict could bring disaster in the region, adding that the country’s armed forces are ready to give a befitting reply to Indian aggression. On the other occasion, Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said that India wants an escape from the resolution of Kashmir dispute that is why it is opening new fronts. “Pakistan will continue to seek peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute,” he added. Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Barjees Tahir condemned the ceasefire violation by the Indian forces and said that India is confused after failing on international forums but they will have to answer the violence against innocent Kashmiris. On the other hand, Khurram Dastagir, Ameer Muqam, Riyaz Pirzada, Sheikh Aftab and others declared India responsible for spreading unrest in the region.
