Pak-India relations can’t improve due to Hindutva mindset: FM Qureshi

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pak-India relations cannot improve in the presence of the Hindutva mindset. In a statement on Thursday, he said that Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav had confessed to terrorism, but Pakistan accepted the verdict of the International Court of Justice. “Pakistan is forwarding within the ambit of the law. To contrary, India does not consider human demands and law. The Indian extremist government has always tried to impose its opinion,” he said. The foreign minister said that India is becoming isolate at the international level and facing failures globally. “India does not spare any of its neighbours, including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and China. Beijing had tried to improve its relations with New Delhi, but to no avail.” He said that India had always demonstrated a negative approach and it has never cooperated. “Our thinking is positive and always keeps facts before the world.” Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Pakistan had provided the consular access to spy Kulbhushan Jadhav, but Indian diplomats desisted from talking to him. He said that avoidance of Indian diplomats to talk to Commander Jadhav has exposed India's malice as they did not want this access. “Behaviour of Indian diplomats seemed strange. Why was the consular access sought if the Indian diplomats were not ready to talk to Kulbhushan Jadhav,” he added. Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Pakistan had also removed glass partition on the objection of Indian diplomats as well as there was no audio and video recording. “Pakistan fulfilled all demands of the Indian diplomats, but even then they preferred to go away without having any talk with Kulbhushan,” he concluded.
