ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that the Pak-Saudi relations are entering a new phase and change will be witnessed on February 16. Addressing a press conference with Information Minister Fawad Ch and Adviser to the PM on Trade Abdur Razak Dawood, he said that they are trying their best to get rid of the begging bowl. He said that eight memorandums of understanding (MOUs) will be signed during the visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The minister said that the NRO had damaged the country and the Lebanese prime minister had played a role in one of the NROs. “We will raise the issue of Pakistanis languishing in Saudi jails for petty crimes,” he declared. He said that no conspiracy is being hatched to involve Pakistan in the Yemen war. “We are striving to take the strategic partners along with us,” he said. Fawad Ch said that Pakistan is playing a key role in the international affairs. “All arrangements have been finalized to welcome the Saudi crown prince. Adviser to the PM on Trade Abdur Razak Dawood said that a huge investment will come from Saudi Arabia as 20-22 big businessmen are accompanying the Saudi crown prince. “The wind energy projects will be installed in Sindh and Balochistan,” he said. The adviser said that the biggest investment will be made in oil refinery.
