ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Pakistan and Afghanistan have a history of relations.

Addressing the inaugural session of Pak-Afghan Trade and Investment Forum on Monday, he said that after Afghanistan, Pakistan had suffered the greatest loss due to terrorism.

"Time has come that we should feel what we gained and lost from the past. We tried our best to develop friendship with India, but it is our ideological opponent," he added.

He was of the view that only trade can bring prosperity in the country. "It is our top priority to promote trade in Pakistan."

PM Imran Khan said that he had directed to the commerce minister to enhance relations with Afghanistan. "Pakistan will get maximum benefit from peace in Afghanistan. We are making all-out efforts for establishment of peace," he added.

He declared that Pakistan and Afghanistan will have open borders like Europe.

The prime minister said that nobody could interfere in Afghanistan from abroad and foreign interference cannot succeed in Afghanistan. "It is decision of the Afghan people to elect their prime minister," he added.

He said that whatever happening in India has never happened in India.

PM Imran Khan said that India was keeping eight million Kashmiris in an open jail.
