Pakistan and IMF agree on staff level agreement

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan and IMF have reached an agreement on staff level agreement.

IMF agrees to restore US$6 billion loan to Pakistan, an installment of US$1.59 billion will be released to Pakistan.

Pakistan will have to adhere to the preconditions for financial and institutional reforms. Pakistan met all performance targets by June by a large margin.
